stayed at kingscliff for 3 nights in a double room with a sea view. the room was clean and spacious, with a great en suite and tea/coffee facilities. the staff were welcoming and the hotel's decoration was tasteful. it's only about a 25-minute walk from the pier and directly across the road from the beach. i really enjoyed the cooked breakfast, it was plentiful and hot. the aroma of fresh coffee filled the air.

Couples might find it charming
The staff were friendly and genuinely happy to help us when we arrived looking a bit lost and the sea view from our room was fine we spent hours just gazing outside soaking in the sights and sounds of the ocean.
It wasn’t a bargain but for the experience it was still reasonable.

Great Location, Friendly Staff
Had a nice stay for a couple of nights. The location is lovely, away from the hustle of Clacton, which is a big plus. The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially at check-in. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant—really good food! Just wish the carpets could use a little cleaning.

We had a lovely stay with our twins in a spacious family room that easily accommodated our playmat and rocking chairs. The kids enjoyed the beach access and the cozy garden area, making it a breeze for us to relax. Just a heads up, the room overlooked the parking lot, so maybe request a room with a better view next time! 😊

Had a great time with friends! We enjoyed relaxing at the beach and checked out the local playground – a blast for fun! The hotel was really nice, with comfy rooms. I recommend expecting a decent breakfast selection, but do check for fruits ahead of time. a fun spot for a getaway.
One downside was the shower. the smooth surface felt slippery, which made me hesitant to use it. A bath mat would definitely help future guests feel safer!
